Is UBuildIt a fit for me?

With the UBuildIt system, you don't need construction experience and you won't have to lift a hammer, that is unless you want to. You will use everyday tools like your cell phone, personal computer, day planner, and your UBuildIt Construction Manual and online resources to manage your remodel project.

Managing your own remodel project isn't for everyone. How will you know if it is right for you? The scale of your project

Additions and significant remodels usually realize the most value from the UBuildIt system. However, a variety of projects, depending on size and complexity, may benefit. Ask your UBuildIt Planning Consultant to help you evaluate your project

Your schedule and time

Managing a successful project may take a couple of hours a day. Most of this time is spent on the phone scheduling subcontractors, ordering materials and managing your construction budget. Some flexibility in your schedule is needed so you can meet with subcontractors and with your Construction Consultant for planning and site visits.

Attention to detail

The ability keep track of many moving parts will help ensure a successful project. Your UBuildIt Construction Consultant, Manual, and online resources will be invaluable, but in the end, you are in control.

Following a proven system

The most crucial part of working with UBuildIt is your ability and willingness to follow a proven system. Everything you need to know will be laid out for you. It's sort of like paint by numbers. If you use the right colors with the numbers, you'll wind up with a work of art.
