Chris Hartke-owner & Construction Consultant has 25 years of building experience. He owned Hartke & Company in Vancouver, Washington for 16 years doing custom home building. His custom work has been featured in several national magazines including Builder Magazine, an official publication of the NAHB. Chris has 5 years of UBuildIt experience as principle Construction Consultant at the Vancouver and Portland offices. Chris is a knowledgeable, effective communicator, innovative problem solver and patient teacher. He has been married to his wife Terry for 10 years and together, they have 4 children.  

Mike Kelso- owner & Sales Consultant is responsible for the administrative, sales and marketing aspects of the UBuildIt-Redmond office.  His involvement in the housing industry started over 15 years ago as a staff member with the HBA of Metro Portland.  In 2000, his move to Central Oregon exposed him to the architectural style of the high desert with elegant wood details and exposed beam work.  He represented a local company as National Sales Manager when custom hardwood flooring from the NW became popular, developing distribution points from Cape Cod to Seattle with anchors in Denver, Salt Lake and Minneapolis.  Seeking another challenge in 2004, he joined a custom home builder as Production Manager and later as Operations Director.  His oversight and team building approach created a solid organization with award winning homes in multiple price ranges.  The next chapter for Mike is as a UBuildIt franchise owner, the culmination of all the fantastic experiences of the past wrapped into a package for the benefit of his clients.  We are all excited about the future and what this company will bring to the owner-builders of Central Oregon

Amy Remick-office manager for UBuildIt-Redmond, has a BS degree from Oregon State University in Speech Communication. Amy brings with her many years of public speaking and a great ability to build relationships with owner-builders, vendors and subcontractors. Her enthusiastic approach to life spills over to all those she comes in contact with. She genuinely cares about the people she interacts with, looking to make their experience with UBuildIt a positive one.
